Electric Cabaret win National Street Entertainers Competition 2010
Electric Cabaret emerged as the champions with a mesmerizing performance piece encapsulating the essence of statue with fine physical theatre. They also walked away with the winning prize of £1,000. In second place, receiving a cheque for £500, were LiNe uP - Dora Dare and her lazy husband Dan offered their original street show which combined juggling, clowning, live music and puppetry, all with maximum audience participation.
Winning £250 for third place were Hip Hop supremos, Frantic UK.
Pickled Pear Street Theatre came fourth winning £150 for their totally original, zany street theatre based entirely around cavemen and their antics!
With his own particular brand of humour, compare Dingle Fingle ensured the day went without a hitch and everyone enjoyed the hysterical display of talent on offer.
